Tinkerbell MOC

Hey, a few people mentioned they wouldn't mind a look at this once my daughter had received it (Christmas gift). Well it is now built and being played with, mostly in conjunction with her friends figures who all have to have sleepovers with Tink, but hey... I have to say the build could do with a bit of refinement as it is tricky in places but the finish isn't too bad. As mentioned in another thread the figure is built from standard parts and through firestonetoys i was able to get a chap to laser cut the cloth for the wings and dress to finish it off. Planning a few more figs to go with it but not for a bit. Anyway i have included a few images of the model built and one of the LDD image. Enjoy.

Was thinking about cuusoo but 10,000 but probably won't go down that route. I don't have any affilation with the guys that helped out with the Tink figure but i do know that they plan to produce a few of them for dierct sale on their website, so if people do like her then there is a chance to get one.
The next set is below and i am trying to get a Vidia and Silvermist fig made up (I have a Terrence fig on the way already.

Ther is actually one more model i designed for the set, although i doubt i will actually built it for real as it doesn't really fit with the Pixie Hollow setting, but as we all like trains in my house i designed a 'Fairy Express' so they could get around.

Haha love the setting, and the tinkerbell is top notch. I also love the Fairy express. Great job. I might do this myself, since I have 3 daughters who all love Tinkerbell. (although my 11-year old claims she doesn't :)

The keychains can be removed and the wings taken off and repurposed. :)

@gerogebjones - Yeah i had a look at these during the design process but ruled them out. Oddly enough i thought they were a bit to 'solid' for the fairies, (that said i thought the pink wings worked best out of the two) but mainly the price point was too high, the cloth wings cost pence to make and require no mutilation of figures so plenty of scope for experimenting, with the solid wings that wasn't the case.

Head = LEGO Mini Figure Heads - Yellow - Female Smiling
Hair = LEGO Hair - Blonde Bun
Body = LEGO Mini Figure Torso - Plain Yellow
Legs = LEGO Mini Figure Legs - Green Bikini
Dress = Custom
Wings = Custom

I used velum for my angel wings at christmas. But if you want to make cloth wings 'fray stopper' is great stuff - makes cloth stiff and obviously stops it fraying. If I had the right bit of white cotton I'd give this ago for wings in future.

These are cute, and with the whole Disney lego deal would be an easy possibility for them. Though guess they might go the 'Friends' mini-doll route if they did something like this.

I agree, the friends mini-doll would make a better fairy than the standard mini-fig and I mentio that on Cuusoo but sadly I think my customisation skills and the fact that my daughter would kill me if I touched any of her mini-dolls :) means I won't be giving that a go - have to leave something for Lego to do after all....
