Places to Buy / Download MOC Instructions?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but here goes...as an AFOL I love building complicated sets, but I'm somewhat limited when it comes to my own creativity. Once I bought some instructions for an MOC from a sight called "Brick City Depot", and the building experience was great. I don't know if there are alot of people out there offering MOC instructions for free or for sale, but if you're out there, I'd love to find out about it (and I'm sure others like myself would as well!) The variety of great MOCs I find online are amazing... but I want to build them!

I would love to find some modular's other than the ones listed on ebay.

I havn't looked for them specifically, but I've come across a few on MocPages. I have a couple of small apartments I've designed in City scale if you want. Also a little van :)

I've bought several from brickcitydepot.com. I was very pleased. They send you PDF instructions, a parts list and an XML file for brickilink. I bought three of the buildings and three of the vehicles. I would illy recommend them.

I have looked at these online a handful of times thinking I would LOVE to build one of these "cool" looking designs (the old victorian house on ebay) is the one that stands out the most. I just started collecting/building again after 20+ years off (build all sets I buy) but then dismantle them and keep them in the original boxes after Im done. So my question to you guys (1st timer on here) about how much does it cost to build one of these MOC buildings. If I were to purchase the instructions online for any of the bigger designs (this I not using any parts from my sets) roughly about the cost of building them? My fear was buying the instructions then buying the parts and then realizing it was going to have about $500 or so into it....then trying to explain that one LOL...

Your roughly gonna pay about $100 per 1000 pieces if you shop bricklink well

If you are sourcing all the pieces from bricklink, it will be somewhat expensive- if you have a decent collection of parts to use it isn't too bad. I used pieces from my two black pearl sets, some pieces from my own collection but still sourced about $70 of parts that I didn't have available.
