I was pleasantly surprised to find a set I'd bought for my son in my wardrobe I'd forgotten was there. Now he can get it for Christmas (along with a LOT of other sets!)

0 • Like •UPS delivered 57 boxes today, the picture that was posted above is about half that number, I ended up having to hand carry some upstairs. It was all the Target clearance orders and the TRU BOGO deals...
Sigh...
My wife said to me today, "so, do you think there is a chance that perhaps you got carried away?" :)
Um, yea... but it is so much fun, I feel like a kid again...

0 • Like •The pile was impressive, to be sure, so far I've gone through about half of it... Will do the rest tomorrow. A bunch of it is stuff I can sell tomorrow, was picked up on the Target clearance. A few of the items are BOGO TRU and they are now sold out so those are also sellable. Did get an order from S@H, some Duplo items for the kids for Christmas as well (including the Duplo Train!)

Yep, my wife is amazing, I'm very lucky to have her, but truth is, she feels the same way. The way she sees it, Lego is my other girlfriend, but one that she gets to play with as well and she knows that Lego will never take me away from her or the kids.

We're getting our garage outfitted with cabinets -- which will help. Also have 16' outdoor shed. Been clearing out old Christmas and Halloween stuff to make room ;)

0 • Like •I wouldn't trust Lego to anything that wasn't heated/cooled, but maybe that is just overkill on my part?
Right now the long term stuff is stored in a closet upstairs, the short term stuff is stored in a closet downstairs, plus in the sitting area of our bedroom (yea, my wife loves that part, but she just figures we have expensive furniture there!).
As far as bottled water, yep, Ozarka delivers 25 cases of water every month, much nicer than going to the store to lug it all home, the driver brings it right in the house and drops it right there (it is of course a much larger pile when he does that).
I buy everything in bulk, CostCo is my other best friend. :) Lets just say I max out my $500 limit in CostCo rewards every year...
