First off, well done for getting something up and sticking with it. That alone is more than some would ever manage and it is easier to criticise than to do! ;) Having said that, unless you have a lot more stock, in your position I wouldn't bother. …

@Huw and the 'Scammee' > Email abuse@hotmail.com too and say that the account is being used for fraudulent purposes. Put 'fraud / impersonation' in the subject line as they get 000s of abuse reports a day.

Looking at http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=79003-1 the review summary says 3.8 (1 Review), but when you click on the review it's Huw 5* review!

Thanks! Very useful.

So my #7633 is missing a piece and, naturally, it's one I haven't got in any colour in any other set. ;-) I know this thanks to the new Brickset parts functionality...thanks, it's saved me wading through boxes of LEGO on a pointless search! It's r…

Just finished #4206 recycling truck and about to start #7633 construction site with my 5 year old!

Fibre-optic / LED lighting kit for your existing sets, if you display?

Are these discounts likely in UK B&M stores too?
-
OK. I guess it is one way to do it, but it does result in misleading summary scores in these sort of instances. Also, as I wasn't aware of this weighting I've been taking summary scores at face value for a few sets. Thinking it was disappointing and…

@LegoFanTexas I'd suggest what has disappeared or is Sold Out on the GB (UK) LEGO.com site is a pretty good guide to what is EOL: - Diagon Alley page has been deleted - Maersk Train page has been deleted - Imperial Shuttle is Sold Out with no date …
-
I would normally agree but if you look at the reviews one of the mentions an about RRP price and it isn't £43.72. Something odd is going on with that one.
-
so chuffed I snagged a couple of extra imperial shuttles for £169 each last week. Great deal and timing! Where from?
-
[...outburst redacted... ;) ] If it is a low value item then I'll mark it as a gift. If it is over £50 and I think it might end up making any insurance claim a hassle I won't mark it as a gift.

Maybe they could keep the costs down with a generic stadium and just have licensed minifig teams? I like the idea of an open ended stadium, perhaps they could do a Baseball Park and then you could combine two of them to make a Football/Soccer/Rugb…

I had to go looking for LEGO® Time-Teacher Minifigure Watch & Clock, Item: #5001370. It seems it is not available in the UK at the moment. Does anyone know how long it has been available in the US and if it is heading to the UK?

^^ I can't even see an Oct 2nd post! I thought this didn't flow quite right and, knowing these forums, assumed a thread merge. It would be nice if a marker post could be added for merged threads.

I suspect they are going to have some issues with this promo if it is only supposed to be for subscribers of the magazine - given how widely it has been promoted on the Internet today. I expect some actual subscribers won't even have received their …

Pretty much no chance as I suspect sending 10,000 they will be using pre-paid postage packages with enough postage for the UK only.
-
A bit of an odd direction but - I'd like to see them use the Parr Residence in The Incredibles as inspiration for an Architecture model. It is a classic 'American Modern' design is the style of Eichler.
-
Amazon UK has had Fallingwater reduced, but never Robbie House. It seems you can pick them up across the Amazon EU sites for significantly less on occasion. I suspect they will go up and potentially up quite a lot for the higher piece count sets but…

Perfect! Now they just need some storage boxes! ;)

Great idea. I'm in. PM sent.

No, but doing a Google image search for 'LEGO billboard advert' certainly brings up some great results!

^^ Very true, but often individuals in management roles can make even the best company, in every other way, unbearable to work for. Oh, that is *so* true! Sheffield is a little too far for me to trek too, although for the Brand Store model I might …

I certainly don't condone his actions (assuming he is guilty) but the police releasing the pictures seems like an unnecessary intrusion of privacy and morally dubious ahead of a conviction.

...don't underestimate the fun in chasing up all those pieces through parting out sets, bricklink etc... Equally, don't underestimate how few people even within the AFOL community have the time and energy to take that approach or even realise it is …

@LostInTranslation and @robnwcc - same here! No free shipping and no LOTR poster in the UK, at least it is not adding to *my* basket. To top it all I was going to get 10216 Winter Village Bakery @£50.99 but it is not available to buy in the UK at …

Always good to see a new store, but it seems a strange choice, given that they have Liverpool already and there is only 40 miles or so between them. I would have expected Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle or Edinburgh first for better geographical cove…

You may have answered your own question with 'None of these are as big...' given they only have so many marketing dollars to spend and each exhibition potentially needs a ROI business case - that is easy if you are using it to launch new products, n…

@Yellowcastle - Oh, I see! Thanks. Is there anyway to know that one of my threads has been merged into another one when it happens? Maybe a msg to the OP? As I wasn't following this thread as I'm not particularly bothered about the TC-14, just abo…

@Huw, I suspect you might be changing Forum settings on the server or similar. This is the second attemp to post this (the first had discussion ID 4718) but that didn't seem to appear in the forum even though I had it bookmarked and when I refresh t…
